STATEMENT OF FAITH
Redeemer Mission is a Scripture-centered evangelical Christian ministry.
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God and shall serve as the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct, and ministry practice.
Redeemer Mission affirms the Lausanne Covenant. As an expression of our convictions, Redeemer Mission generally aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
The Scriptures
We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts, and are completely trustworthy and sufficient for all matters of faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; John 17:17
God
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in divine nature, power, glory, and majesty.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed mighty works, died as the substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return personally and visibly in power and glory.
John 1:1–18; Matthew 1:18–25; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, indwells believers, empowers Christian living and witness, and sanctifies God’s people.
John 16:8–15; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9–16
Humanity and Sin
We believe all people are created in the image of God and therefore possess inherent dignity and value. Through Adam’s fall, all humanity has inherited a sinful nature and stands guilty before a holy God apart from His saving grace.
Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:10–23; Romans 5:12
Salvation
We believe salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Forgiveness of sins, justification, reconciliation with God, and eternal life are received solely through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:21–28; John 14:6
The Church
We believe the Church consists of all true believers united to Christ by faith. Christ has commissioned His Church to make disciples of all nations through the proclamation of the gospel, baptism, and faithful teaching.
Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:11–16; Acts 2:41–47
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe baptism is for believers and is properly administered by immersion as a public profession of faith in Christ. We believe the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance given by Christ to His Church as a remembrance of His atoning work until He returns.
Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
The Sufficiency of Scripture and the Closed Canon
We believe God has fully revealed His saving truth in the Scriptures. The biblical canon is complete and closed. No subsequent revelation, prophecy, tradition, or human authority may supersede, alter, or add to the authority of Scripture.
Jude 3; Revelation 22:18–19; Hebrews 1:1–2
The Return of Christ and Eternal Judgment
We believe Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly to judge the living and the dead. Those who belong to Christ will enjoy eternal life in God’s presence, and those who reject Him will experience eternal separation from God.
Matthew 25:31–46; Revelation 20:11–15; John 5:28–29
Mission
We believe Christ has commanded His followers to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, contend for the faith, and bear witness to Him among all peoples until He returns.
Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Jude 3; Romans 10:14–17
Core Values
The following values guide the ministry, relationships, stewardship, and decision-making of Redeemer Mission. These convictions shape how we pursue our mission and seek to glorify God among the peoples and places where Christ is least known.
Biblical Fidelity
We believe Scripture is God’s inspired, inerrant, sufficient, and authoritative Word. Therefore, all ministry, teaching, discipleship, apologetics, and organizational decisions must be governed by the truth of Scripture.
We seek to faithfully handle God’s Word and submit every aspect of life and ministry to its authority.
“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” — John 17:17
Gospel Centrality
We believe the life, death, burial, resurrection, and lordship of Jesus Christ are the center of God’s redemptive plan and the foundation of all ministry.
The gospel is not merely the entry point into the Christian life—it shapes everything we do, teach, and proclaim.
“For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” — 1 Corinthians 2:2
Disciple-Making
We believe Christ has commissioned His Church to make disciples of all nations through evangelism, baptism, teaching, and faithful Christian witness.
Our goal is not merely to communicate information but to see lives transformed through obedience to Jesus Christ.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...” — Matthew 28:19
Truth and Apologetics
We believe Christians are called to contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints and to give a reasoned defense for the hope found in Christ.
In a world shaped by competing worldviews, false religions, secular ideologies, and spiritual confusion, we seek to proclaim truth with both conviction and grace.
“Always being prepared to make a defense...” — 1 Peter 3:15
… “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” — Jude 3b
Hospitality and Relationships
We believe meaningful gospel ministry is often cultivated through genuine relationships, hospitality, generosity, and long-term investment in people.
Meals, conversations, shared experiences, and sincere friendship frequently open doors for deeper spiritual conversations and lasting discipleship.
“Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.” — 1 Peter 4:9
Cultural Engagement
We believe the gospel transcends every culture while speaking meaningfully within every culture.
We seek to understand the people we serve, communicate clearly within their cultural context, and remove unnecessary barriers to hearing the gospel without compromising biblical truth.
“I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.” — 1 Corinthians 9:22
Creativity and Stewardship
We believe God has entrusted His people with gifts, talents, resources, opportunities, and creativity for His glory.
Art, business initiatives, cultural exchange, education, and other creative endeavors can serve as meaningful avenues for building relationships and creating opportunities for gospel witness.
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
Integrity and Accountability
We believe faithfulness requires honesty, transparency, humility, and accountability in both ministry and stewardship.
We seek to manage all resources entrusted to us with wisdom and integrity, recognizing that we ultimately answer to God for our stewardship.
“Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2
Church Partnership
We believe the local church is God’s primary instrument for making disciples and proclaiming the gospel.
Redeemer Mission seeks to strengthen, serve, and partner with biblically faithful churches, pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders whenever possible.
“And what you have heard from me... entrust to faithful men...” — 2 Timothy 2:2
The Glory of God Among the Nations
We believe God is worthy of worship from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.
Therefore, we seek to advance gospel witness among those who have little or no access to the message of Jesus Christ, praying that Christ would be known, worshiped, and proclaimed where He is least known.
“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!” — Psalm 96:3
